Mandy Severson:
Studio Manager
Mandy fell in love with yoga her freshman year of college. From Bikram, to Hot Yoga, to Vinyasa Flow, she discovered how much time on her mat benefited her both mentally and physically. With a background of dance and a love for fitness, yoga has been the perfect balance to help build her strength and sustain her balance and flexibility.
After teaching kindergarten for 10 years in Greendale, Mandy decided to stay at home with her two children Ruby (now 7) and Rowan (now 4). She immersed herself in her community of Whitefish Bay. She took on many volunteer roles such as Girl Scout Daisy Troop Leader, serving on the board at Community Preschool of Whitefish Bay as the VP of Enrollment, and acting as a PTO chair for Richards Elementary School planning and facilitating events for the school community.
In fall of 2023, Mandy and her husband Patrick decided to make their way back to the Green Bay area where they both grew up. Now that they live close to family, Mandy took the opportunity to take her love for yoga a step farther and enrolled in the 200 YTT course. Blending her passion for teaching and yoga, Mandy is thrilled to guide you through your practice placing emphasis on setting an intention and growing your gratitude both on and off the mat.
Kristi Pennenberg
Kristi discovered yoga 10 years ago as a way to stay mentally and physically fit while trying to navigate working full time as a nurse practitioner and raising two tiny humans. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Saint Norbert College, as well as a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing.
Yoga has remained a huge part of her life. She has since taken on SUP (stand up paddleboard) yoga. After her yoga studio shut down during COVID, she was devastated, to say the least. Yoga is more than brick and mortar. She had began practicing virtually. She built her own studio in her basement!
When Lifestyle Power Yoga opened, she was there, since day 1, and has been here ever since! Having that in-person training back was so amazing. The sense of community brought her so much joy. She had decided to share this joy by becoming a certified yoga teacher (Yoga Project, 2022).
Aside from yoga, Kristi works as a nurse practitioner within our community. She is a full-time wife and mother of two children (and one fur baby). She enjoys traveling, dining, attending concerts, creating custom cakes and spending time with family and friends.
Kristi has combined her passion for healthcare and wellness by continuing to practice medicine and yoga. Yoga is essential for physical and mental well being. Yoga can be modified or amplified to meet everyone’s needs. Kristi invites you to practice with her on the mat!
Michelle Melby
Erica Gloeckler
Erica first found yoga freshman year of college and it quickly became her happy place. For 10+ years, practicing yoga has been an amazing source of self-care, making her stronger physically and mentally, and provided a space to set stresses aside and be present.
It is because of the joy that yoga brings that Erica became RYT-200 certified. Her hope is to share this same joy with you, through the challenges, mindfulness and growth that all happens in a yoga class!
Outside of the studio, Erica is a designer and illustrator, loves to be outside and going on adventures with her husband, Grant, and dog, Wilder.
Sue Zimmerman
Sue discovered the joy of Yoga from Allie, one of our fellow instructors. Allie inspired her to practice yoga twice a week to continue her love of running. The practice of breathing and stretching was extremely helpful. Eventually, Sue was motivated to become a yoga instructor. She started with Trauma Yoga, adventured into Yoga Ed for students then pursued her 200 hour YTT with Breathe for Change.
Sue also pursued her YTT due to working as a School Counselor and seeing the need for breathing and moving your body for mental health. Yoga has inspired her to teach summer school yoga for elementary students Kindergarten to 4th grade. It brings challenge to their movement but emphasizes the importance to pause and breath.
Sue was raised in DePere and loves to give back by guiding yoga practices. She makes the point to emphasize she guides the practice of yoga but encourages everyone to honor their body and do what they need for themselves. At the end of all practices, Sue implements setting an intention for the week while settling into a calm state. She would love to guide your health journey with yoga
Allie Pedretti
I have always been passionate about health and wellness! I was diagnosed with scoliosis in my teens and could barely see my big toes by the time I reached my 30’s and recommended by my Chiropractor to try Yoga to strengthen my core and support my weak back. Well, truth be told, I disliked my first class, but became a diligent yoga practitioner after another dozen classes and various teachers. Realizing that Yoga not only made me feel better on a physical level, doing things I wouldn’t imagine I could do on my mat, but on a spiritual and mental level too! On and off of the mat...it’s all YOGA!
At some point, I felt the need to share what I had learned throughout my health journey with our Community and began teaching at the YMCA part-time while working full-time in Sales. True story, I taught everything from Yoga to group fitness classes including, but not limited to Body Fit, Cycling, Fit For Life and Pilates at the Y. After another seven plus years, I decided to take a step forward to officially become a certified Yoga teacher. Teaching and helping others to become more proficient in their own practice became my passion.
March 2010 – I took my passion and the leap of faith, and we opened the doors of “Pedretti Power Yoga LLC” community. In the midst of the YOGA JOY that I was sharing 7 days a week at 805 George Street, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. This diagnosis forced me to slow down and stop taking my own health for granted. I can’t thank our Community enough for their wonderful support from the day the Studio opened…until the day the Pandemic forced the closure of our beautiful space on March 17, 2020.
Combined with my Wellness Coaching certification, I have been inspired by my students (aka Yoga friends for life) to become a better teacher and a better person above all. My claim to fame is that I am the least flexible Yoga Teacher in Wisconsin! Proud of it. Yoga can be whatever you make of it and I’m not one to force any aspect of yoga upon anyone else. My amazing job is to simply offer students the tools to integrate yoga into their lives as they see fit. I have a Yoga mat and I want to travel, be around good energy, connect with like-minded people, learn new things, grow...
